Yesterday was hubby and my 19th wedding anniversary! WOOHOO!!!! We celebrated it in the most wonderful way. We loaded up the pups and took a drive to the coast. I never go to the beach because i always forget just how close it is, and I don’t really care for wind and being cold. Yesterday was anything but windy and cold at Doran Beach in Bodega Bay. When we arrived at 10:30 in the morning the fog was thick, but it was only a little cool, and no wind. PERFECT! This was Rosie’s first trip to the beach, and she absolutely loved it. She was finally free to dig as much as she liked. The fog soon cleared and the sun came out halfway through our walk and it was beautiful. After our five mile walk up and down the beach it was time for lunch at Spud Point Crab Company for the tastiest clam chowder in the world. At least in my world. The car ride home wasn’t the most pleasant though. Lights were dinging and binging at me. The car was dying. We did make it back to town in mostly okay shape, but about two miles from home the car gave me a light show from the dash. It was flashing lights I have never seen before. I am pretty sure it used every single symbol it had. We literally limped into our driveway. SHWEET!! WE MADE IT. Time for a nap.
