I think Rosey has finally forgiven me for taking her to the shelter to get spayed. It took a while for her to get over the anesthetic, and I am really hoping she doesn’t remember much if anything at all. Cross my fingers, because today is Junebug’s turn. I have to drop her off today at the vet’s to get a dental. I get to go through the trauma of handing my sweat puppy off to the vet all over again. I honestly don’t know how much more of this guilt I can take. It’s the puppy dog eyes that get me. The look on their face when I hand them over and they have no idea what’s going on. I try to explain to them that I will be back and this is for their health, but I don’t think the message is getting through. It would be really helpful to be a pet communicator right now.
