The day after Halloween people always like to talk about how many Trick or Treaters they had and who had the latest person to knock at their door. I think I won the latest person contest… 10pm. When I heard the doorbell I was certain that it must be an ax murderer because that is just WAY too late. My guests did not heed my warning though and opened the door. Three teenagers, who were tired and confused looking, stood before us. My friend asked them if they are still trick or treating and in a quiet unsure voice one said “No…we are lost” So we gave them some candy and let them call their mom. That still counts though as having the latest Trick or Treaters.
